With just a few hours left until kickoff, the Packers have elevated fourth-year wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown to the active roster.
General manager Brian Gutekunst announced the late roster move this afternoon, with no reason listed for the elevation this close to game time.
The promotion adds an additional storyline for the broadcasters tonight, with ESB’s brother Amon-Ra on the other sideline. The Detroit rookie had 2 receptions for 23 yards in the loss to San Francisco last week.
Additionally, the Packers unveiled stickers they will wear on the back of their helmets this season to honor the life of the late Ted Thompson. The former Packer GM passed away earlier this year at age of 68.
