The Tomah VA Medical Center will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) building located on the Tomah VA campus. The event will take place at Building 405 at 10:00 a.m.
The first floor of the new building will be available for viewing from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Veterans, their families and friends, and members of the community are invited to attend. To access and view parking directions and a campus map, click here.
The Keynote speaker for the ceremony will be Dr. Edward Landreth, Mental Health Lead for the Great Lakes Health Care System (VISN 12). Great Lakes Health Care System’s (VISN 12) Acting Network Director Victoria Brahm will provide opening remarks.
“The activation of the new RRTP building at the Tomah VA Medical Center demonstrates significant progress toward our strategic objective to deliver the full continuum of mental health care to Veterans who have earned and deserve this specialized care,” said Karen Long, Acting Director, Tomah VA Medical Center. “
“The opening of this new facility will allow our dedicated mental health professionals the opportunity to deliver state-of-the-art, integrated, and Veteran-centered mental health services to America’s heroes in a convenient and accessible location,” she said.
