The Kids from Wisconsin "The Beat Goes On"

After 50 years of entertaining audiences across Wisconsin and beyond, the Kids Beat is stronger than ever.  “The Beat Goes On” as The Kids from Wisconsin stop in Tomah at 7:00pm.  The 51st season will feature music and artists that have stood the test of time.

Living legends such as Billy Joel, Tina Turner and Cher, just to name a few, will get audiences on their feet along with music that is both traditional, award winning and notorious. Music from some super all-stars such as Queen and Gershwin will keep them wanting more and more.

The featured songs of today have beats that will last from now on as they captivate the younger dreamers in the audience.

The iconic sound of the Kids from Wisconsin Band will wow you with some winning tunes from all-time rockers such as the Doobie Brothers, Festival De Ritmo, some favorite Superheroes and more.  These band showstoppers will get toes tapping to some of rock’s greatest guitar riffs and percussive Latin beats. The classic Broadway medley will make you want to stomp, clap and sing along and bring to life some of the best-known, beat-filled musical tunes.

Originally from the Tomah/Warrens area, Alex Knoepker will be involved in growing the “Realize Your Dream” workshops throughout the touring season.  Look for Alex on stage as one of the band conductors this year.

The Kids from Wisconsin will also be offering a free “Realize Your Dream” workshop to the youth in the area.  This workshop is designed for children ages 7-14 that would like to grow and develop in all aspects of the performing arts.  You can even bring your instrument and jam with the Kids from Wisconsin band.  This one-hour workshop will take place at the Tomah High School Auditorium on July 22 at 4:00 pm.  Pre-registration is required at
