The Festival will be held at the Visitor Center Grounds on Highway 131, one mile north of La Farge. Visit http://kvr.state.wi.us for a detailed schedule of activities.
Fee-free events at the Festival grounds include: Ho-Chunk Winter Games and Traditional storytelling, guided hikes, presentations and demonstrations, Tri-State Alaskan Malamute Club Sled Dog Race and Weight Pull, childrens events, hands-on activities and face painting, horse-drawn bobsled races and fat tire bikes and snow shoes to try out. In addition, Wildcat Mountain State Park will be hosting dark sky viewing and night hike; La Farge is hosting ice skating and evening Bingo; Rockton Bar is hosting live music.
The La Farge Lions Club hosts the annual Chili and Bread Contest. The public is welcome to enter the Chili Contest or become a judge for a $5.00 fee. There will also be the live auction of local goods and services. Concessions available on site. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Reserve's Education and Events Program.
